Time schedule
The time schedule mainly depends on the avaliability of the funds. The construction of the telescope has been organized in three main phases.
The first phase consists in defining all the operative characteristics of the instrumentation, with particular care to reduce the impact on the local seeing. The companies will be selected and the estimate of the costs revised.
The second phase consists of the order of the components, the development of all the acquisition and data analysis procedures. The test of the complete system will be performed at low temperatures. This phase ends with the shipment of the instrumentation.
The third phase consists of the antarctic campaign for the installation of the telescope and the observations at high spatial resolution. The images are analysed to estimate the quality and stability of the solar seeing. In the case the excellent seeing conditions will be confirmed, it is planned to upgrade the instrumentation to obtain simultaneous full-disk images.
